The Mini Note 2133 was their first attempt at producing a high quality Netbook, and the end result was something which looked fantastic, high-end and ultraportable.
The new Mini 1000 goes above and beyond its predecessor, sporting an all-black shell, larger screen, and playing host to a whole array of extra hardware. The swirls on the casing, which are HP’s signature on many of their laptops, just adds a touch of class to this already classy Netbook. Starting at $399 for the 8.9” version, the 10.2” edition is available for only $50 more than the littler brother. Of course, the Mini 1000 comes packed with all of the standard Netbook hardware, including the Atom CPU, and it is already available on the market, so for all of you buyers who thought you’d wait it out until a truly capable Netbook becomes available, the time to buy one has finally arrived!
