As always, the people at Sony are constantly looking to bring you the latest and greatest in notebook technology, and have recently unveiled the new VAIO P Series Lifestyle PC. This notebook measures only 8 inches, is 0.78 inches thick (9.65x0.78x4.72 inches total) and weighs only 1.4 pounds.
The one-button quick-boot option is quite handy, allowing you to quickly start up your Lifestyle PC in a small Linux kernel. Featuring Sony’s xross media bar interface as well as web access via Firefox, e-mail, photos and more, it’s quite a nice system. Starting up takes only 17 seconds with the quick-boot option, making it a fast and convenient alternative to running the system in Windows Vista mode.
